My name is Andrew Ledford,

I Do Not Want To replace your current marketing people or company; I only want to help you do your marketing in way that I am uniquely suited for. I can supplement already successful marketing with something new and different.

I have been involved with small businesses in the local area all my adult life. Most of you know me from the pet industry, many of you know me from one of my public access television shows. A lot of those in the pet industry remember me from my Dogs OC and Long Beach Dogs websites. The Dogs OC site used to be the largest pet directory in the county and drove a lot of business back to the local community.

A lot of people in East Long Beach, Fullerton, and the Yorba Linda areas will remember me as the Dave Lennox ACGuy character when I was promoting an AC company.

Over the years I have become involved in several areas of business and have always been interested in communication. Some interesting projects have involved the creation of cable TV media, being an influencer for Google and Volkswagen, website development and SEO, puppet building, character development, and community management of a large social media community (over one million members.)

I can help with website and social media consultation. I am now available to be part of your marketing mix. In fact, I am looking to build a Co-marketing relationship with local businesses and create new ways to reach customers.

At one time I had the most popular dog directory in Orange County. At the height of that directory I sent hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of business to many Orange County veterinarians and other pet industry businesses. How do I know I sent that much business to veterinarians? Well, at the time I was acquaintances with one of the VCA regional managers. She would tell me how many new clients they got from my website.

I have also had three public access TV shows. Two were about dogs and one was about local history and attractions. One of the dog shows was quite good for my own business. As technology and demographics change, media platforms become more or less useful. While public access can still be quite useful, it no longer has the reach it once did. That is why I am working on developing new channels for video distribution

In addition to working in the pet industry I have been involved with real estate, property redevelopment/investment projects, home improvement promotions, and industrial sales. I come with fresh new ideas. Cross pollination of ideas from outside of an industry often produces wonderful results.

If needed I can help you get set up to stream video from your office. Equipment is now quite affordable and easy to use.

Website consultant, I have been making websites since the late 1990s. I provide website audits of varying complexity. I will always do a simple website audit when working with marketing partners. If asked I will give recommendations so your web developer can work on improving your site. I’m trying not to give this information unless it’s asked for. The reason I’m trying not volunteering this information is I know people who get somewhat upset with me pointing out website risks. They simply do not want to know about their website’s vulnerabilities and risks. Software and plugin vulnerabilities as well as other risks really is something your web developer should be talking with you about. I follow several alert lists for monitoring site vulnerabilities.

SEO Recommendations
SEO knowledge, search engine optimization is a lot harder than it used to be. I try to keep up to date with what is going on with the major search engines.

Local SEO
Recommendations on improving local search engine optimization. Local SEO is very importance for businesses in competitive industries.
